Complimentary standard shipping, from China to the world.
1. Where we deliver
At launch, Lanting Loom ships to major international markets including the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, European Union countries and Australia. We may also serve other destinations as they become available.
The country selector and delivery options shown at checkout provide the definitive list for a particular order. We cannot deliver to a destination that is unavailable at checkout.
During this initial stage, all orders are fulfilled directly from China. We do not yet hold inventory in local warehouses in the UK, US, Canada, EU or Australia.
2. Complimentary standard shipping
Standard international shipping is free storewide for every destination currently available at checkout. No minimum order value is required unless a temporary promotion expressly states otherwise.
Complimentary shipping covers the transport service only. It does not include import duties, VAT/GST, customs taxes, clearance charges, remote-area surcharges caused by an address, or redelivery costs caused by incorrect customer information.
3. Processing and delivery time
Personalised, pre-order, made-to-order or bespoke items may need additional preparation time. Any different timing should be stated on the product page or agreed with you separately.
Delivery estimates may be extended by customs inspections, public holidays, peak shopping periods, severe weather, remote destinations, local-carrier disruption or events outside our reasonable control. Please allow extra time when ordering for a fixed gift date.
4. Dispatch and tracking
When your order is dispatched, we will send a confirmation to the email address used at checkout. Where the selected service supports tracking, the message will include a tracking number or link.
Tracking can take several days to show new activity while an international parcel is handed between export, air-transport, customs and local-delivery partners. This does not necessarily mean the parcel has stopped moving.
5. Duties, taxes and customs
Orders sent from China may be treated as imports in the destination country. Unless checkout expressly states that duties and taxes are included, the recipient is responsible for any import duty, VAT/GST, sales tax, brokerage or carrier fee charged by local authorities or the delivery provider.
These charges are not shipping fees collected by Lanting Loom and are outside our control. Rules and thresholds differ by destination, so customers should check local requirements before ordering. We must declare parcel contents and value accurately and cannot mark a commercial order as a gift to avoid charges.
If a customer refuses a parcel because of unpaid import charges, any refund will be handled after the parcel is returned, subject to applicable law and any unrecoverable costs.
6. Addresses, delays, loss and damage
Address accuracy
Please review the recipient name, address, postcode and telephone number before completing checkout. Contact us immediately if a correction is needed. We cannot guarantee a change once processing begins, and additional costs caused by incomplete or incorrect information may be deducted or charged where legally permitted.
Delayed or missing parcels
If tracking has not changed for an unusually long period, or the estimated window has passed, email info@lantingloom.com with your order number. If tracking says “delivered,” first check with household members, neighbours, building reception and the local carrier.
Damage in transit
If a parcel arrives damaged, retain the item and all packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs. We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate next step.
