These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using lantingloom.com and purchasing Lanting Loom products. Please read them before placing an order.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or place an order with Lanting Loom. The final legal name, registered address, registration number and applicable tax details of the seller must be inserted here before the store accepts orders.
By ordering, you confirm that you are legally able to enter a contract, are purchasing as a consumer unless otherwise agreed, and have supplied accurate information. Corporate and bespoke projects may be governed by a separate written quotation or agreement.
2. Products, descriptions and availability
We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Measurements may have minor tolerances, and silk colour or sheen can appear different because of lighting, screens and the natural behaviour of the material. Packaging may be updated while maintaining an equivalent standard.
Availability is not guaranteed until an order is accepted. The starter products included with this theme are demonstration concepts; all materials, dimensions, prices, origin, care and production claims must be replaced or verified before sale.
Placing an order
Your order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean acceptance. A contract is formed when we expressly accept the order or send dispatch confirmation, depending on the law that applies.
Before acceptance, we may decline or cancel an order because of unavailable stock, an obvious price or description error, payment failure, delivery restrictions, suspected fraud or legal requirements. Any amount already taken for a cancelled order will be returned.
3. Prices, payment, taxes and duties
The currency, product price and available payment methods are shown during checkout. Delivery charges and taxes are displayed where the checkout can calculate them. Payment must be authorised before dispatch.
For international deliveries, import duties, taxes or carrier charges may be payable by the recipient unless checkout expressly states they are included. Please see the Shipping Policy for further information.
If a price is clearly incorrect, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the order before acceptance. We will not change the agreed product price after an order has been accepted, except where required by law or agreed with you.
4. Delivery, cancellation, returns and refunds
Estimated processing and delivery times are not guarantees. Delays may arise from customs, carriers, weather, peak periods or events beyond reasonable control. Risk and ownership pass at the point required by applicable law.
Our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy form part of these terms. Personalized, bespoke or made-to-order goods may have restricted cancellation and return rights where the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer protections.
5. Gift services, care and acceptable content
Gift presentation, message cards and accessories are subject to the options shown on the product page. You must not submit a gift message, review, custom request or other content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, misleading, infringing or harmful. We may refuse inappropriate content.
Follow the product label and care instructions. Silk can be damaged by moisture, perfume, rough surfaces, heat and unsuitable cleaning. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty or not as described.
6. Website use and intellectual property
The Lanting Loom name, website design, original patterns, artwork, photography, text and other content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view the website and retain order records for personal use, but may not copy, reproduce, distribute, scrape or use its content commercially without written permission.
You must not interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, misuse another person’s account or use the service unlawfully. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience; those services operate under their own terms.
7. Liability and events beyond control
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, business losses suffered by a consumer, or failure caused by events outside reasonable control.
If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
8. Governing law and changes
The governing law, courts and any mandatory dispute-resolution information must be added after the seller’s legal entity and principal markets are confirmed. Consumers may retain mandatory protections available in their country of residence.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version in force when an order is accepted normally governs that purchase.
